As a society, it is important to show our unwavering support for our first responders. As such, Lighthouse Health & Wellness is proud to offer our Corporate Certification program for companies that want to solidify their support of first responders, are proud to publicize this to their employees and customers, and wish to increase their brand recognition.

There are three paths a corporation can take to achieve membership into Lighthouse Health & Wellness’s Corporate Certification program: by issuing a Statement of Support, via Fundraising, or through the creation of a Memorial Page. All Members of the program will receive a Welcome Pack including a formal letter thanking them for their membership to the Corporate Certification program indicating their level of certification, Lighthouse Health & Wellness Corporate Certification decals, Hi-res digital copy of our Lighthouse Health & Wellness Corporate “seal of approval” that can be used on your website and any other marketing materials, and more.

 

STATEMENT OF SUPPORT

The required Statement of Support is a document drafted by the petitioning company detailing the ways they support first responders. This can be a written statement outlining community actions or outreach, documentation of events or promotions focused on first responders, the offering of benefits such as discounts for first responders in uniform or those showing official credentials, or similar information that shows that the submitting company is active and forward-facing in their support of our heroes.

 

FUNDRAISING

An additional avenue to joining the Corporate Certification program is to host a fundraiser for Lighthouse Health & Wellness with 100% of the proceeds benefiting First Responders. Celebrate a birthday, host a fundraising party, hold a neighborhood garage sale or online silent auction.

Your fundraiser can be whatever you want it to be.  You can even promote it through social media and e-mails to your friends and family members. Your certification level will be ‘Fundraising Partner’ and will be active for the 12-month period following your fundraising event.

 

MEMORIAL PAGE

Corporate Certification may also be achieved by creating a Memorial Page that honors a specific fallen First Responder and gives you the chance to make a unique memorial gift donation to support other First Responders.

Reach out to us using the form below. Complete the information on your First Responder along with any documentation as to their passing, select your level of donation, chose from several options directing where your donation will go, and your heroes page will be certified by our wellness team within 48 hours and be made available on the Lighthouse Health & Wellness Memorial Page.

You can then access the page to customize your memorial, including uploading articles and photographs, as well as create and send e-mails to your employees, friends, and family. They in turn will be able to comment on the page and/or make donations in the name of your hero.

 

CERTIFICATION LEVELS AND ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES

Annual Membership dues allow Lighthouse Health & Wellness to carry out its mission of providing cost-free wellness resources to our first responders. The Lighthouse Health & Wellness Corporate Certification program not only offers encouragement for companies to openly support our first responders, but also uses the membership fees to allow Lighthouse to carry out its mission of providing cost-free wellness resources to those same heroes.

There are multiple Certification levels, each providing certain benefits to those Members. For the Statement of Support and Memorial Page paths, Membership level will be determined by the amount selected by the Corporation. Corporations holding fundraising events will be certified as Fundraising Partners.
 

 

PROCESSING FEE AND ANNUAL RENEWAL

The Processing fee supports Lighthouse Health & Wellness’s team of researchers who verify that every company joining the Corporate Certification program is in good standing in their community and has provided accurate documentation in their Statement of Support. Lighthouse Health & Wellness conducts as much due diligence as possible to ensure all members of this program are of the highest integrity and continuing their acts of support through a yearly reaccreditation. Three months prior to their renewal date, notification will be sent to participating companies via email to submit their new documentation along with the annual Membership and Processing fees within 45 days of renewal to allow proper time to re-verify compliance with the program. As with the Statement of Support, these payments can be submitted on the Lighthouse Health & Wellness website at the bottom of the ‘Corporate Certification Program’ tab following completion of the Submission Request form and uploading of the Statement of Support. If for some reason the company is not accepted into the program, the Membership dues are returned to the submitter. The Processing fees will not be refunded as it is used for the verification of acceptance process.
