Thanks to various private sector and non-profit supporters, the underlying cost to provide the Lighthouse Health & Wellness Core platform is covered.
With the free Lighthouse Core platform, you agency will be able to provide your employees and those that support them with confidential and anonymous access to a growing library of first responder focused health and wellness resources, anonymous crisis support lines and resources specific to your agency including peer support teams, chaplains, EAP information, local recommended therapists and more. Via an agency specific access code, this information can be accessed at any time on any web accessible device via the www.lighthosuehw.org website or the Lighthouse Health & Wellness mobile applications available both the iOS and Google Play app stores.
The paid version of the platform allows your agency to have a stand-alone application with additional features which drastically increases adoption, usage, and ongoing engagement. The key feature being the ability to skip the access code and directly access the Lighthouse Core platform at the touch of a button. Additionally, it allows us to provide your agency direct support and resources to help promote and market the project within your agency on an ongoing basis as well contributes to the development and support of public safety health and wellness initiatives and programming at the local, state and, national levels.
Absolutely. Your agency will still have an agency code that will allow your employees and those that support them to access the Lighthouse Core resources along with resources specific to your agency via www.lighthousehw.org or our Lighthouse apps that are available in the public iOS and Google Play app stores.
Lighthouse Core can be ready for deployment to your agency in 15 minutes. Custom paid apps can be ready for deployment within 2-3 business days in most cases.
Yes, regardless of the version your agency chooses to move forward with, you will always have the ability to add agency specific information to the “My Agency’s Resources” section of the Lighthouse Core platform.
Once your custom app has been launched it will remain active allowing direct access to Lighthouse Core and two custom in app pages or links to additional agency specific resources. At any time, you can reactivate the additional features and app updates by renewing your support plan.
No. We do not require our agencies to sign a contract unless they require one. We believe that once you see the work we are able to do for public safety health and wellness that you will want to continue to be a part of our project year in and year out.
The reason for the PBC is to enable the flexibility to move fast enough to react to the issues of today and tomorrow and to allow us to seek alternative revenue beyond donations and grants to ensure that once an agency is part of the program, it will be permanent and that we can serve as the institutional memory to keep the program active as required.
