Because of the physical demands placed on first responders due to their line of work, the same approach is often taken to ensure the best care is provided for all areas of health. Some medical professionals aren’t aware of the unique physical demands that are part of a first responder’s job, so it’s important that you advocate for yourself to make sure you receive the best care possible.
